Entropic Reverie

Entropic Reverie is my first major conceptual body of work. These digital composites were made by layering photographs and working with a digital paintbrush to add or subtract different parts of the images.

 Drawing influences from Surrealist paintings and the Japanese practices of Shinrin-Yoku, Entropic Reverie seeks to combine the synthetic with the sublime to inspire the viewer to imagine an alternate reality where we live in greater harmony with the natural world.
